I've always been drawn to the beauty of the world around us, and the fleeting moments we often pass off as ordinary, but really are everything. The things that deserve to be photographed, so you'll never forget them.
I feel so fulfilled when I can bring out confidence in a senior and show her how beautiful she really is through my lens. When I can show a mama how her children look at her when they laugh because she's their whole world, but sometimes we're too busy and stressed to notice.
As a mom, a creative, and someone who's walked the trenches of grief, I know how precious time is. How precious moments like these are. And my mission is to capture them.
My approach
My goal is to get a mix of classic, smiling portraits everyone wants for their grandma, and candid photos that show who you are. The most important thing to me is making the experience easy. I am the most laid-back person, so no pressure at all. I'll give you poses AND prompts so you never have to feel like you don't know what to do. I guarantee we will be laughing, I'll be making animal noises and singing songs behind the camera to get your kids to laugh, and I will absolutely be HYPING YOU UP and making you feel so, so confident and beautiful.
What gear do i use?
I shoot with a Sony A7IV camera, which is an absolute beast. My main lens for portrait sessions is a 35 mm 1.4. For weddings, I will always have two camera bodies on me so I have a backup in case, along with different lenses so I have a variety to work with throughout the day. I also do use a Godox flash when needed, especially on the dance floor.
